I just synched my ipod into my dd's and I seemed to have lost all my music and videos I had.
Are they stored someplace for me to download again?

i dont understand....you synched it with DD's WHAT? computer? if so then if you had the automatic updates enabled it will wipe out your ipod, however you can plug it into your computer/itunes again and everything should be able to be put back on (provided you still have the content on your computer)

You can get around this and plug your ipod into ANYONES machine (as long as it is the same type ie mac or PC) if you disable the automatic updates under preferences and manually update/add new content by dragging and dropping.

No, it asked me if I wanted to synch with another ipod and I said yes and it seems like I erased all my music and just got the purchased music my dd got the other day.

hmmm....i have never seen that/had that happen. go into your itunes (on your computer) when you do that, do you still have all of your old content in itunes? if so then I would manually drag the library folder (if you want everything you have in itunes on your ipod) and drop it into the "my ipod" or whatever your ipod is named. If you only want some of the content you manually chose what you want and do the same thing.

You lost it on the iPod, its still on the orginal computer your were syncing with..

If you want to sync you iPod to another computer, choose no at first when it tells you this iPod is sync to a different machine and sync it manually by going into the ipod and select sync manual folders...
