Bridal shower help
I was hoping someone had a great idea for a creative gift that I can do for my cousins wedding this summer. I am in the bridal party and want to give some sort of homemade gift and i am not much of a scrap booker... maybe a photo journal...or something all the family and bridal party could contribute too?? all ideas welcome!! tia!!

For mine, my sister included an index card and asked all the guest to include their favorite recipe.
When she got them all back she organized it as nicely as she could and gave it to me the day of my Bridal Shower.

How about a nice recipe book? You can have a beautiful one made with all your family members recipes?
Send out a questionairre to each person of the family. Request that they submit a favorite picture, any quotes or advice to the bride-to-be and for their recipes. Then when you get those questionairres back, scan them in individually and then you can upload them and the pictures to a site and have a book bounded up and printed up so it looks like a real hard cover book.
When she looks through each page, she will see each members favorite memory, picture(s), recipe and best wishes..

i got two personal gifts like that. i got a recipe box with a recipe from each guest at the shower. i also got a quilt that one guest made and had every other guest write a message on for me.

Both my brother and DH's brother got married in 2007. I made them both holiday baskets, with kitchen towels, placemats, candles, etc. for every holiday. They both really seemed to like them.

My mom send recipe cards with the invites and had everyone bring them and got me a nice recipe box.
Also she brought a new phone and address book and passed it around and had everyone fill it out. It was great for thank you's, x-mas cards and just in general. I have that same phone book almost 10 years later.
