knitted a scarf
I knitted this before the sweater. My coworker picked out the yarn-imported Italian cashmere. It is soooo soft! The top image is more like the true color.

Re: knitted a scarf
Your work is beautiful. I just finished one in the Bernat Angora blend and it is also very soft. I am wondering if you blocked yours?
This is the one I made but I didn't want the fringe. Am thinking of crocheting an edge.

What store do you go to? I would love better quality yarns than Michael's or AC Moore's.
Would you mind sharing the stitch? I want to make a scarf for my husband next. Thanks so much.

Re: knitted a scarf
I don't remember the stitch!! I have to find the piece of paper they gave me.
I did not block the scarf.
I bought the yarn for this in Manhattan, at 13th and 5th. It is Italian cashmere. very soft. very expensive, but my friend gave me the money to knit it for him.
I really want to find the stitch. Maybe I will call them or go back and ask.

Re: knitted a scarf
Thank you so much. I have come to realize that you have to pay to get good yarn. I like my Bernat Alpaca blend but it is scratchy. I'm thinking that may be the acrylic in it. I really want to get good yarn for a change. There must be some good shops on LI. I would really appreciate that stitch if you ever find it. I have been searching online...but you know how that often goes. So much time with not good results.
