Sooooo frustrated
I'm on CD15, my 5th day with a high reading on the CBEFM, and more CM than I've ever had in my life.
Yet, I know that I probably won't O this month, because the bloodwork and sono confirm that nothing much is going on--not to mention my TSH and prolactin are both through the roof.
Just really feeling it today. If I had a total lack of cycle symptoms, it probably wouldn't bother me so much, but knowing that my Peak reading would probably come right around now just makes it worse.

Re: Sooooo frustrated
If it makes you feel better........I had AF on Dec. 11th. I was going along getting all the blood work done and having sono's and NOTHING was happening!! I too started getting the high reading and I got excited thinking something was happening but day after day.......NOTHING. I had blood drawn again on Dec. 26th.......NOTHING!!!
Finally on Dec. 31st which was like CD22.....a FULLY matured egg ready to go!! I've mentioned before in another thread but just to reiterate..........had the trigger shot on Jan. 1st, ovulated, had an IUI and I'm pregnant!!!
Moral of the story...........NEVER give up!! I know it can be frustrating at times but you never know when all of a sudden your body is going to "cooperate". I never thought anything was going to happen (especially on that cycle) and then it did so you never know. Keep your fingers crossed.........you're still early enough in your cycle where there is the potential for something good to happen.
I will be thinking of you.......LOTS and LOTS of luck!!!

Re: Sooooo frustrated
My cycles are very similar. I would get high readings on the monitor starting at CD11. Month after month, I would not show any mature follies until around CD21. Don't give up!

Re: Sooooo frustrated
I don't use any of the monitors or go by EWCM. PCOS can cause a high amount of LH (this is one of my symptoms). The monitors and ovulation kits are looking for a LH surge. So it can read a false positive if your LH is high because of PCOS. Same for EWCM, its produced because LH is increasing, so if your LH is high because of PCOS you will get EWCM. Its just another bummer about PCOS, you get all the fertile signs but you are not ovulating. Do you know if you have high LH levels?

I had no idea that could happen! I'm not sure if my LH levels were tested. I know my FSH was normal.
That really s u c k s though--it's kinda like "hey, you'll never produce an egg on your own, but we'll make it look like you do!"
I HATE PCOS.

I'm sure they tested your LH levels, ask for the numbers.
PCOS really does suck! Last cycle, I got a +OPK on CD13 which is unheard of for me...I went the next morning for blood and sono and NOTHING was going on. In fact they said my bloodwork looked like CD3 bloodwork results!

I hate it too. I have EWCM often, I have never used an OPK because of this reason. I also have to get trigger shots becaue my LH is always high they can't count on a surge to make my ovaries release an egg.
