Re: Can anyone relate to this?
May, If you can work out in AM, its hard as hell but the thought of it being done is priceless. If thats not an option bring you gym stuff to work so you can go right from your office, no stopping home and getting suck...phone calls, hubby, couch! Will power to get there takes a lot BUT once your 15 min into your work out you will forget how hard it was getting there. Good luck and keep up the good habit.

Re: Can anyone relate to this?
I have been feeling the same way, and I have all of my gym equipment in the garage! I just can't get myself into it. I tell myself every day that I will, but then I don't. I don't know what the heck to do either.

Re: Can anyone relate to this?
I went through this last year. I was tired of going to the same gym, seeing the same people, doing the same exercises. I was bored, so of course I didn't have the energy to go to the gym.
I changed up my workout and got excited about exercising again. I hired a boxing coach and actually got results like never before. A trainer may not be in the budget, but try changing things up a bit - a class, a video, etc.

I was like that...and I also refuse to do an AM workout. I am not a morning person and I have my DD to deal with.
Can you bring your clothes with you and change there and head to gym? That is what I do. Even if I put in a 1/2 hr its better than nothing.

Sorry to hijack but do tell Patty!!!!! When, where who is this boxing coach? I just love boxing. Do they go to your gym or home? You can FM me if you like but I would love more information!

Me neither! I have the hardest time!! I really want to do it, but when it comes down to doing it- I make up a million excuses in my mind as to why I can't!

Re: Can anyone relate to this?
Hello everyone, Thanks so much for the advise. Most of you mentioned bringing my clothes to work and going to the gym from there. I never thought about that really. Thanks again! Now, I must get my booty in gear!

My suggestion - pack your gym bag before work and bring it with you. Then after work go right to the gym. Once you go home, there is little motivation to go out again. (Or at least this is what I have found)

Re: Can anyone relate to this?
I have not been able to get in to the gym and have a yearly membership. I just started back at ww and feel like it is one step at a time. I am hoping by next week I will be back to going almost daily.

This is my problem too!!! I was like a nut job w/ the gym back in the summer and fall.... but all of a sudden after the holidays I'm just not motivated! And I'm having trouble making the effort to fit it in anywhere ...
