My ear is so clogged and stuffed!!!

Not sure what this is - it happens every once in a while

My right ear is all stuffy and clogged, and I have this rushing sound in my head as if there is a river going thru my skull - its so annoying because its hard to focus or feel alert

I tried cleaning it with Q tips, but nothing

q-tips can make it worse - they compact everything. there's this stuff you can get from the pharmacy - they're ear drops that loosen the wax. i forget the name, but i'm sure the pharmacist can point you in the right direction. buy that and one of those bulb squeezy things
then go home, follow the directions on the ear drops (do one ear at a time), then fill you sink with luke warm water. use the bulb to slowly squeeze the water into your ear. do it a few times and you'll start to see stuff some out (gross, i know). keep doing it until it stops, then do the other ear. you may have to do this a few days in a row. it's gross, but it works and you'll feel a lot better.

the rushing sound may be because of your sinuses too. take a sinus pill to dry it out or use a saline nose spray.
