Armed Person on Campus at Stony Brook* Just got the all clear message*
Anybody know what is going on over there? I just got a text message about this. It says in the academic mall. Everyone over there be safe.

I just got a text about it from their emergency system it said a report. Who knows if it's actually confirmed.

Really? There's nothing on the website
I got two texts about it and a phone call from their emergency system. It said for updates go to the website and I haven't seen anything yet.

My heart is racing right now...
I am not 100% sure what is it about but I subscribe to their alert system. Similar to what St. Johns has. It calls me up and send me text messages when emergencies happen. It says an armed perpetrator on the academic mall. It could be nothing but I figured someone on campus would know more.

It's true. I work on Campus (but across the street by the hospital). My building is on lockdown! No one can go outside.
I came on here to find out more info. I only know the same as Sean said.

I know hubby just got the text while he was teaching about it. He was actually going to go there today but I told him to go tomorrow now intstead. Jesus what is going on with these schools.
