Has this happened to anybody?

I was sleeping and woke up when my belly started severely cramping. It seemed to start in my uterus, then it traveled to my entire belly. It lasted for about a minute and I tried screaming for DH, but my lungs seemed to be solid too. Over about 10 minutes it kept happening.

The only way I can describe it is like those damn cramps you get in your calf when you're sleeping. They are so severe that you want to scream. But it was my entire mid section, even my back started to contract. Now it's been about an hour since it happened and I am in a lot of pain in my belly and back.

I am 6 months post partum and have been having some problems with my back, but not sure if that's related. Anybody have a charlie horse feeling in their torso?

Could it have been a muscle spasm in your back that affected your mid-section?
