Valencia, Spain to Mallorca, Spain?

DH and I booked a trip to Spain in April. We are trying to figure out the itinerary.

I did a google search but can't seem to find this info.

Does anyone know how long it takes to get from Valencia to Mallorca by ferry?

Mallorca to Barcelona by ferry?

Barcelona to Madrid by train?

I know this isn't your question... but we flew from Madrid to Barcelona and it was only a few dollars more expensive than taking the train. We went to a TA while we were in Madrid and she did everything for us, it was super simple!

Here's some ferry information I found.

It looks like 7 hours between Valencia and Mallorca.

Between Barcelona and Mallorca, it looks like there are two options. The high speed ferry is 4 hours, and the regular is 7 hours.

Rail Europe has two train options... from Barcelona to Madrid.

From what I can see, it's either 3 hours and 23 minutes or 2 hours and 38 minutes.

The flight is only 1 hour and 15 minutes. I'm seeing flights on Expedia (one way) for $79.


ETA: The train prices I saw were $182 one way.
