Gardeners - what zone are we on LI?
I read conflicting info.
I am in Hicksville. Is that 7b?

all of li is 7. a or b not sure, i forget. But last frost date for this area is april 15. it use to be april 20th but in the last few years has been moved up. (prob global warming)

They changed those maps in the past couple of years. You can get away with a one zone swing either way, with a little prep.
I typically don't plant anything until May 15th.
