Trying not to freak out...
Last night DH and I did the deed, and we weren't too careful....
I was a bit nervous, and checked the fertility friend website and saw the red eye on last night's date, which is a potential fertile day....
Should I just forget about it and not even think about it? It's not the date for exact ovulation, but its still a fertile day, and lets just say that I speak from previous uh oh experience....
What are your thoughts?
ETA - thank you ladies, for all your suggestions for plan B, but I don't believe in doing it ....

Re: Trying not to freak out...
Honestly, I don't think there is anything you can do about it now
But if it is something you don't want now, start that AF shows in about 2 weeks

Re: Trying not to freak out...
Hmmm, I'd say don't think about it but I don't know if I'd be able to do that.
Just try not to over-analyze every little symptom you feel in the next two weeks and if AF doesn't show up in another 12-14 days, take a test!
Good luck!

Re: Trying not to freak out...
There's always the Plan B pill, available over the counter. It's supposedly effective up to 72 hours after intercourse.

Re: Trying not to freak out...
Well, thanks ladies, like I said, I'm trying not to freak - I should have looked at the friggen calendar BEFORE we did the deed, but things happened and thats it....
I only went onto the fertility calendar to see if I could be fertile now - I don't have any fertility issues

Re: Trying not to freak out...
I think the calendar is more of a "ballpark" and not an exact science, so to speak.....

Re: Trying not to freak out...
from what i have read, your chances of getting PG on your most fertile days are about 25%.
if you don't believe in plan B and are not ready for this baby, then i would just pray.

Re: Trying not to freak out...
if you do not want to be preg you can go to the pharmacy and ask for the plan b. you MUST take it within 72 hours of the deed. i think its like $40. and available over the counter, but you must ask the pharamacist for it.

Scroll up - I addressed that I personally don't believe in it... but thats not to say that other people shouldn't - I am very non judgemental in my beliefs, but its not an option for me....

Re: Trying not to freak out...
Agree re: plan B. If you really do not want a child now and do not have ethical problems with plan B, it's a good option. I used it once very early with DH, we were not even engaged, just dating, and we had an accident with our birth control.
