Mom's going on #2 or more ??? a few questions about bed and strollers
What are you doing about a stroller? If getting a double, what kind/brand?
Are you moving 1st DC into a different bedroom and keeping the nursery for the new baby?
Will you have two cribs or getting 1st DC into a toddler/twin bed??
I think thats it for now.....

Re: Mom's going on #2 or more ??? a few questions about bed and strollers
We will definitely get a double stroller...haven't really started looking at that yet.
We are moving DD to her big girl room and the baby will go into the nursery...we decorated the nursery and chose the room based on keeping it as the nursery until we have a few children...We need to put her in a crib (she'll be 19 months) for a while, but we are getting one that converts to a toddler bed so she can move into that in the future...
I am so glad that you posted about this, because I have been wondering if anyone else had these questions!

I think we are getting a whole new set for the new baby since DD has a lifetime set that grows with her. We will keep her in the same room and make a nursery in another bedroom. As far as strollers I am pretty sure I will get a double jogger for neighborhood walks and a Sit & Stand.

Re: Mom's going on #2 or more ??? a few questions about bed and strollers
DD is already in a twin bed (well the bed is in her room but she insists on getting out of it and climbing into my bed ) I will be moving her into a new room.
As far as a stroller I am torn. Heyley will be 3 so I don't really want to spend $$ on a double stroller if she is going to grow out of it soon. I was thinking of getting the Baby Trend Sit n Stand stroller. But that worries me because sometimes she does fall alseep in the car and I can put her in the stroller and she will keep sleeping. I wouldn't be able to do that with the Sit n Stand.

I'm getting a double stroller, both side by side and a tandem. I ordered a Graco Duoglider for now. It fits our carseat. I am hoping to get the Peg Perego Aria Twin.
I moved dd to a new bedroom but only because we moved. I have two sets of nursery furniture because she still sleeps in her crib and it's convertible.
My dd with be about 20 months when the new baby is born.

we got a combi double side by side. LOVE IT aside from the baskets on the bottom are too small
DD moved into her big girl room and we left the nursery since it was gender neutral (even though we knew what we were having).
she is in a toddler bed now (convertible crib) and we are debating on giving her a twin so that her crib can be for baby #3

Re: Mom's going on #2 or more ??? a few questions about bed and strollers
Our stroller has a place for Kiera to stand so we are not buying a double stroller. She's already 3 1/2 and I just don't feel as if we'll get enough use out of a double stroller. If we're ever going somewhere where I feel like she needs a stroller we'll use the umbrella stroller for her and the big stroller for the baby.
As far as the bed, Kiera is already in a twin bed so the baby will get the crib. They are going to share a room for some time. We have the extra bedroom but I think it's nice for kids to share a room when they are very young. I think it helps them get closer. Once Kiera turns 5 we'll move her into her own room upstairs, if she wants to, and the baby will stay in the same room.

I think we're going to get a sit and stand for the next baby. As for the bedroom, Jared is staying in his room and I'm taking away his headboard (which was part of the crib) and the dresser (which used to be his changing table) to use in the new room. My mom is getting Jared new furniture for his birthday.

Re: Mom's going on #2 or more ??? a few questions about bed and strollers
My dd will be 2 weeks shy of 2 when her baby sister arrives so we will be getting a double stroller. I'm thinking about a sit and stand from one step ahead or baby trend.
I am moving her into a bigger room and giving the new baby the nursery. The furniture will be staying with DD and she will still stay in a crib for a while. I'm probably going to get hand me down furniture for the new baby. We are in the process of redoing somethings in the house and I'm hoping to get DD into her new room at least 2 months before baby #2 comes.

Re: Mom's going on #2 or more ??? a few questions about bed and strollers
Jennah will be 2 years, 4 months when arrives. As much as she hates sitting in the stroller, I will be getting a double. So far I love the Phil & Ted's, so it looks like that will be the one.
She's already in a toddler bed (although she doesn't sleep in it much ) and to me her furniture was too "girly" for a boy so we ordered new furniture from Behr's.
They will both have their own rooms.

Re: Mom's going on #2 or more ??? a few questions about bed and strollers
I bought a sit and stand for us. Target had it on clearance so I was happy to get it at a great price. My mother also had a friend from work that gave her a graco double so we have that two if we need it. We moved my daughter into a new room around January. She transitioned great. We bought her a twin bed. I didn't see the need in spending money for a toddler bed. She just went right into the twin.

Re: Mom's going on #2 or more ??? a few questions about bed and strollers
I had a Jane Powertwin tandem stroller for my 2 kids. It's 1 yr old, my DD will not sit in any strollers anymore and I'm selling it. $300, like new. Navy. Great stroller for shopping, and rear seat fully reclines for infant.
