Best way/place to book flights
We are planning a tip to SF/Napa this fall
Is there a better/cheaper site to book flights, or all they all the same?
Dh hasn't flown since our honeymoon and I want to make this as painless as possilbe

I go to the bigges (Travelocity, Orbitz, Expedia) to narrow down the flights, times, and prices that I like. Then I usually book directly with the airline.

It is the site used by TAs. You can get the code and call your TA, CC points, etc. to book the flight.

Also try the discount airlines:
Southwest.com
JetBlue.com
Frontier.com (they're an airline out of Denver, CO and fly to remote areas)

DH and I are going to Napa next week!
We booked our flights through sidestep.com and found virgin america to be the cheapest overall. we are flying direct from jfk to sfo.
well, southwest was cheaper, but it stopped and we figured with the air train, it would be easier to go out of jfk. so the cost issue seemed minimal when comparing the stops and parking.
