Carpal Tunnel

So I am getting the surgery on Monday because I just can't take the numbness & pins & needles feelings anymore!!
Has anyone gotten it? I know it's fairly simple but I am just wondering how quick it will heal?

My mom had both wrists done, and she is pretty much back at 100%. Didn't take that long to heal, if I remember. Coworker just had one of his wrists done, and he's also mending pretty well. Mom's coworker had hers done, but isn't healing as well. I think it depends a lot on the doctor doing the surgery.
