Re: pack n plays that fit two?

Can I just give a bit of advice. I did not go with that one because literally the babies will grow out of it within three months and when that happens you will have to get another one.

I use my pak n plays all the time - for grandma's, going to friends for naps, etc. I needed two of them from three months on.

I used just a regular pak n play in the bassinet portion for the first three months when they slept side by side. Then i split them up and put them in vertically in each one and around 9 months I took off the top bassinet portion and now they each have one. I use it when we sleep over people's house, when we travel, for them to nap if we are out at other houses, etc. The two pak n plays are still the most used items in this house.

I personally think that you need two pak n plays no matter what. I think Graco (or whoever makes the twin pak n play, play on new moms and charge them more, when in actuality they are just making the bassinet portion of the regular pak n play split in two)

Hope that helps!

I agree.

They will grow out of that pack n play very quickly.
You will need two for grandma's house (that's where we keep ours) or for travel.

I'd just get two regular ones.

The Graco one looks nice but I'm sure the weight requirement is still very low.

It's funny, we just read a bunch on that one and decided against it - I can't understand why it's made for twins when it says only one can stay in it (aside from the bassinets).

So back to choosing one again!! I also saw this one, I know the colors are funky, but my friend's sister has it and two fit in it great.

That is my fear - it'll be a waste, that is why I think we will just register for the one larger one and it is what it is!!

I got one regular one and they both napped in ti tin the beginning side by side.

My MIL had one and my mom had one so we only had the one and had it set up, and used it for storing supplies and changing them until they were 2.5 so we got our 100 bucks out of it.

When we traveled they each had their own and we would use one of ours and then my mom's or mil's. We used this up until 2.5 years also and then they went into toddler beds so we won't be using them when we travel next time.

I did have the Twin Pack n Play...it was great when they were newborns, but another post said they outgrow it in a few months....I AGREE. We went away when they were 3 1/2 months and we had them in the separate sections, but the next time we went away, we had to buy another pack n play and take the bassinet off the twin pack n play. I still use both pack n plays when we visit my inlaws. The twin pack n play is a little longer and wider in dimension, than a regular one. HTH
