Feedings question
Some family have recommened that I don't warm the bottles an use room temperatuer water and mix with formula. My mom has told me to warm the bottles. I am not sure what to do and I don't know if I should register for a bottle warmer. What is best?

Re: Feedings question
this is all second-hand info.... I have no experience yet....
I heard that it's good to try to get the baby take room temp, since it's sometimes difficult to get the baby to adjust to unwarmed beverages when it is eating solids.....
however, I am also suspicious of this info, since sooo many parents warm the bottle and it must be for a reason!
I will say that I do not intend on registering for a bottle warmer gizmo.... seems like it will just take up space. I'll do it the old-school way.... heat up some water in a pot.

Re: Feedings question
It doesn't matter what you do, honestly. Neither one will hurt the baby. Honestly, I usually used room temp water with powder (Gentlease) and that was what worked with DS, but plenty of people give cold bottles.
Honestly, you don't need to worry about this yet

Re: Feedings question
I am going to BF and pump into bottles. For the bottles I am going to warm them in a pot of water, just to reach room temp (not too warm) and be more like the real milk that he gets while breastfeeding.
