Re: What to pack for the hospital?
I packed...
*Night Gowns for myself
*Baby clothes
*Clothes for DH
***BOPPY (I wish I would have had one when I delivered my son, even if you don't plan on breastfeeding). I had an unplanned c-section and when I went home the boppy made me more comfortable. Not just for breastfeeding but it was great to support my back while I was in bed.
*Only two pairs of underwear because I know that I will only use the mesh panties anyway.
*Snacks
*Nursing pads if you do plan on breastfeeding.
*Loose fitting clothes to wear home.
*Flip Flops (After I have my son I was so swollen I could not put my shoes on).
I hope this helps.

Re: What to pack for the hospital?
If you can, pack TWO bags. One bag with just the basics to bring when you go into labor. You will need ONE change of clothing, chapstick, camera, phone, etc. The second bag leave home at first and then have DH bring on the 2nd or 3rd day. This bag will have baby's going home outfit, your going home outfit, shampoo, etc. You will appreciate not having it ALL with you all the time
