How many months did you try for this baby, or was he/she just a pleasant surprise???
This time it took us nine long months to get pg. I was seeing an RE and getting all of the testing done when it finally did happen. Our insurance doesn't cover ANY fertility treatments, and I was beginning the paperwork to adopt from Colombia when I got the BFP!!
With my first pregnancy with DD almost 4 years ago, it took one month to get pg!!! Not a true SUPRISE, but still a shock that it happened soo easily!!!

A looong time, like 1.5 years. We weren't actually "trying" though because my body was all screwed up after stopping the pill... getting AF every 3 months and then every 2 weeks - so we couldn't even try. Once we sort of got my cycles under control and I had a hsg, we got pregnant right away, which was a nice surprise.

Funny you mention that, I got pg either 3,4 or 5 days after my HSG!! I think it "blew out the cobwebs"!!

i went off BC in september and we were BDing when i *thought* i was ovulating for the next couple of months, but we weren't really trying trying until december when i decided to use OPKs and we got PG that month.

first try...but we weren't really trying. Got off the pill in december, end of February was the first opportunity for it to happen.
The real surprise came when we found out there was 2 in there

14 months for us.
This baby was definitely planned! I was lucky that I got pregnant my first IUI.

7 months after stopping BCP, used OPK's the last 2 months (only had to buy one box!)

We were incredibly lucky - even with absolutely wacko cycles, we got pregnant the 2nd cycle (which was about 3.5 mos).

With my son, it was about 8 months I think. We actually had a consult with our doctor to explore other options. I believe he was conceived that night we got home from the drs.
My daughter was a pleasant surprise so we weren't trying at that point.

We tried for a good 6 months before we became pregnant....we did look into other options..but were lucky enough to have conceived naturally...

you are all so lucky! (those of you who conceived quickly). I hope this pregnancy brings my body and cycles back to "normal" so next time I don;t have difficulty.

Got pregnant the first try but it was a chemical pg. Waited 1 month and then got pregnant on the second month. We are very blessed and grateful.
