Glad you LOVEd Ireland! your pictures are gorgeous! next time, you must get up to the northeren part of the country, but you saw a lot! I love Doolin too and the Dinegle Pensinula and the Ring of Kerry is stunning-- too bad you didn't havea clearer day for it... but hey, that's Ireland for ya! Rain rain and then some more rain! 
so you kissed the Blarney Stone already, so I guess I can let you in on a little secret. the locals piss on it because they think it's hilarious that tourists kiss it!  that is true though, but you did say they had some anti-bac spray there, so maybe it wasn't so bad!!!

I had heard that! I think it was you who mentioned it before. But yeah, I saw the anti-bacterial spray and that made me feel better  .
And it was more like a peck than a kiss, just in case!

Lots and lots of research on the Trip Advisor website (to research reviews on B&Bs) and also the Fodor's message boards. People will post their Ireland itineraries on Fodor's and ask for feedback, so that's how I figured out where we would go.
I booked the B&Bs directly through their websites, and the airfare I just did Expedia or one of those websites.
