BM storage Question
I have 3 day old BM (never frozen) in the fridge. Can I move it to the freezer? I don't need it until the weekend and part of next week. I hate pumping and don't want to pump new milk! Thanks for your help AGAIN Oh...I am bfing, but pump for when I'm away from DS which is not often.

Re: BM storage Question
I personally would not. As much as pumping isn't fun.... I would just bite the bullet and do it.
Especially b/c if you keep putting off pumping more... your supply will start to dwindle unless u are BF'ing.

Re: BM storage Question
You probably could. BM lasts up to 5days in the frdge. however I think I wouldnt. i agree I don't know your situation but if you stop or slow pumping your supply will slow unless that is what you want? I don't know if you pump or do both so it's hard to say. but no I wouldnt, just give it to DC now and the next pump freeze.

Re: BM storage Question
I would. I always keep some in the fridge and if I don't use it in a couple days, I move it to the freezer. My LC said it was fine but just to make sure it is not in there longer than it should be (anywhere from 5-8 days depending on who you ask).

Re: BM storage Question
just an idea if you are worried about it....why not have your DH give the bottle and while he does you pump a new bottle for the weekend.
that's what I do.
