Vent: Phone Use
Ughh I need to call parents to tell them their wonderful child did not hand in their final project yet.
HOWEVER.....I have been in here 20 minutes and the same teacher is still on the phone - not school related!!!!!!!

no we dont have our own classrooms. there is 1 phone in each resource center (Business Foreign Language, Math, English, Science, Social Studies)
But its an unwritten rule you don't go into the other offices

We had one at my school! Her chaiperson spoke to her, the principal spkoe to her and yet everyday she would sprawl out in the faculty room and talk to her friend for half an hour 
No amount of evil staring would budge her either!

She is in her own world What amazed me is that she has the wildly personal talks with her best friend and vents about her marriage, kids etc. We hear every word which might be the point. It's been mentioned at faculty meetings, but I guess it doesn't apply to her

That stinks. I am so glad that we have phones in our room... although we do have to put in a code so that they can track the usage.
