Question for the Runners - Training for a 5K/10K?
I'd like to start training for a 5K race and am unsure of what the best way would be. I've done the research online but am curious to know how you ladies have gone about it. I currently run 2-3 miles, 4-5X per week. Those of you who have done it, do you have any advice? Thanks!

I'm in the EXACT same boat. A 5k is only 3.1 miles- so it sounds like you are have are already trained for a 5k. Good luck!!!!!

You are on a great track for a 5K.
I love this site! He has different levels of experience too, so once you graduate one, you can go to another - he has a ton of races all with novice, intermediate and expert training schedules.

Runner's world also has a good calculator.

This is awsome!! Thank you so much! I'm a person who does better with schedules and goals or else I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing. This will definitely help!
