Re: What are you bringing
I love this recipe. It's from Rachel Ray.
Thai Slaw Salad: 1 (16 ounces) prepared shredded cabbage (coleslaw mix) from produce department 1/4 European seedless cucumber, sliced into thin sticks 1 small red bell pepper, seeded and thinly sliced 3 scallions, thinly sliced on bias 20 leaves fresh basil, shredded Dressing: 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes 1 clove garlic, minced 1/4 cup white distilled or rice wine vinegar 2 teaspoons sugar or 2 tablespoons honey 1 tablespoon soy sauce 2 tablespoons vegetable or canola oil 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil Garnish: Toasted sesame seeds Combine vegetables in a bowl. Combine dressing ingredients in a small plastic container and shake vigorously for 1 minute. Drizzle sauce over vegetables and toss to coat evenly. Let stand 10 minutes and re-toss before serving and garnish with toasted sesame seeds. Yield: 5 to 6 servings
If I'm feeling lazy I just make it with the coleslaw mix & the dressing & leave out the other veggies. It's still really good & no mayo so it stays better on a hot day longer.

Re: What are you bringing
oops I just saw your requests, it's a no bake cheesecake so I was skeptical but it came out really good. I should mention that I used a tofu imitation cream cheese b/c I'm lactose intolerant so it came out more like a pudding pie. I'm sure if you use regular cream cheese it'll be more cheesecakey. Here is the recipe:
Nutella cheesecake
INGREDIENTS
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened 1/2 cup white sugar 1 (13 ounce) jar chocolate hazelnut spread 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust
DIRECTIONS
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Blend in Nutella and vanilla until no streaks remain. pour into crust. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
