Broiled Chicken Breasts?
Is there a special way to cook chicken in the broiler. I don't have a grill so this is the next best thing.

I dont think you can broil chicken. It would burn before it had a chance to cook through. What about baking it?

Re: Broiled Chicken Breasts?
I broiled chicken all of the time before we moved.
I just used whatever marinade or sauce I wanted, sprayed some Pam on the broiling pan rack and broiled it until it wasnt pink in the center anymore.
I didnt do it on the very top rack, I went one rung down.

I tried it last night & this is where I went wrong.. I used the very top rack & it over cooked a little of the chicken. Now I know for next time.

Re: Broiled Chicken Breasts?
i broil many times- usually in my toaster oven takes about 6-7 mins per side it takes a few tries by citting the chicken in the center to get the right time to match your broiler
pan grillig is good too- also about 6 -7 minutes per side
