Faxing resumes..
is Faxing your cover letter and resume to the principal a good idea? Anyone ever get some feedback by doing this? Is it better than mailing or basically the same thing?
Thanks!

Re: Faxing resumes..
I have. Guess what, I got a job! Before I start faxing over resumes I used to mail them and spend a lot of money on stamps and envelopes. Then my fiance told me to start faxing instead and I did. I use to fax up to 2am because I wanted a job. Remind you, I just finished grad back then, which was three years ago with a school counseling degree, so I was faxing everyday and all night. I figure that faxing your resume and cover letter will get the main office attention, instead of a mailed resume under the principal's stack of papers. That is my opinion. Then all of a sudden, I start to get calls and emails like crazy. I don't see anything wrong with it. Do both and see what happens! GOOD LUCK!

Re: Faxing resumes..
I think it depends on the principal. I sent out over 100 resumes via mail, fax, and email. I only got one negative response from sending it via email but never from faxing it. The principal emailed me back and said that if I wanted to be considered for a position I would have send her my resume by mail...
