A few questions RE: BFN and BFP...Another ? on bottom....
If you tested BFN using early tests, and wound up getting BFP, just curious what days past ovulation you got BFN until, and what day you got BFP.... I'm 12 dpo, and don't want to test until AF is due because I was getting negatives. I'm wondering if this is really a bad PMS and the spotting was some weird fluke....

With my first DS I didn't get a BFP until my second trimester. I felt pregnant, had no period, but coulnd't get a positive HPT.

With #3 I got BFNs until the day before AF was due, and even then, my BFP was SO faint I could barely see it.
At 12 dpo, its still early for a bfp because IF you are pregnant, you may have implanted late.

See, with #1 I didn't even test until after a week when I never got AF!
I'm not sure if I want the BFP, I just want to know why I'm feeling this way!!!!

I think the magic time frame is somewhere between 11-14 days post O.
I tested with a cheapo on day 11 and got the world's faintest BFP. Day 12 with a $$ digital gave me a real BFP.

With my 1st DS even though I kept getting negatives I still had every pregnancy symptom, vomiting, nausea, fatigue,etc. I spotted a lot and I thought it was my period, but it wasn't. Imagine my surprise when I go in for what I thought was an 8 week appointment only to find out I'm 16 weeks along already.

With my second, I kept on testing as soon as I missed my period, because I am always regular. It kept on coming up negative, and I spent sooo much money on tests. So I went out and bought the dollar tree test, because I was sure I wasnt pregnant. I stopped testing for about 5 days, and then 2 weeks after my period was supposed to come, I took the dollar tree test really late one night. It came up positive, and I sent my husband out to get an ept and a digital, just to be sure!

My BFF never tested + on a HPT with her first.

Liza.. test tomorrow.. and if it is negative and your period is late in a few days just go for a blood test.
Actually I think I have two pregnancy tests in my bathroom that I obviously dont need.. If you want them let me know. I think one is a digital and the other might be a first response.

I didn't even think I was pg until I realized I missed my period -- and I couldn't even remember if I did miss it! I was so clueless. But the first test I took (from the dollar tree!) came up pg and a few days later I took a second test because I was still in shock and it was positive too.

I kept getting BFN's up until AF was due. I was traveling between NY, Dallas and California. I tested in NY several times and got BFN's. I tested back in Dallas twice (13DPO, 14DPO), still negative. Went to California, felt extremely tired, bloated, no appetite. Came home and tested and got a BFP! I was almost 1 week over due.

Thats how far along I was with Cailen when I tested!
Thanks for all the responses ladies!!! I'll be honest - the thought of a cute baby is nice, but I really still wanted to keep losing weight and secure myself at my job more, so if I do get AF this week, I won't be that disappointed (last week I was soooo excited at the thought of being pregnant  a few days with DH "helping out" always sets me back to reality though... why do I even have sex with this man??? )

I tested at:
10 DPO- negative
11 DPO- negative
12 DPO- positive
I was feeling tired, bloated, my nips were SO sensitive.
I hope things work out for you.

I honestly don't remember how many DPO I was....but I tested the day AF was due or 1 or 2 days after, except for DS and this one...I was at least a week late.

This pregnancy I tested 10 DPO and got a negative. My first pregnancy I got a positive 10 dpo. This time i tested 2 days later and got a BFP.
