Disney in March and other questions?
DH, DS and I are planning to go to Disney in mid March, like two-three weeks before the April Easter/Passover break for schools. Is this a good time to go? How is the weather? The crowds?
DS will be 1 the beginning of April. Normally we would not think of taking this trip, but we have both free flights from rewards and a time share to stay at for nothing. So basically, we will just have to pay for a car rental, park tickets, food and other minor stuff. What do you think about brining a 11 month almost 1 year old? My mom will most likely be joining us so that will be a big help.
Thanks!
ETA: I just looked up attendance records for March and duh!, I forgot about Spring Break! I think this trip may be pushed back to AFTER the Easter/Passover Break, like the last week in April/first week in May. How does this sound?

Re: Disney in March and other questions?
That sounds like a much better idea
The family and I went those same 2 weeks earlier this year. While it was still crowded, it was not overwhelming.
There are little tips and tricks you can use that will give you a better chance of seeing all of the major attractions and events you want to see, while reducing the time you spend waiting in line.
The weather was nice enough. It started to get a little too warm as the trip ended, so we were very fortunate. The weather is always going to be potluck anyway, so all you can do is look at general trends.
I'm sure you will have a wonderful vacation!

Re: Disney in March and other questions?
First of all, I would not hesitate to take the baby! : ) DH and I are big disney fans, we have the timeshare, too, so we're there often..... we already brought DS to Disney when he was 4mths old. We are actually going again this xmas and DS will be 11mos. So, if you ask me, I would absolutely bring the baby.
Yes, it does help to have other people with you. If you FM me I can give u some more suggestions about traveling with the baby if you'd like.
As for the time of the year, as long as you avoid the spring break, that's a really nice time of the year to go.
Try www.allears.net for some great info, including crowd-levels druing the year.
HTH. Have fun!
