testing to soon
is it too soon to test??? I am expecting my period on the 24th...I took a first response test just before and it was a BFN...
Could it still be too early to determine?
Thanks

Re: testing to soon
The advertising for first response is very misleading. They advertise about being able to detect hcg 5 days before AF. However, it all depends when you implant. Implantation occurs usually from 6 dpo -12 dpo Yes, if you implant at 6 dpo, you can get a bfp on a hpt 5 days before AF. I takes about 2-3 days for hcg to get into the urine after implantation. It has to get into the blood and then go through the kidney...into the urine.
They say the majority of pregnancies implant at 9 dpo, making 12 dpo a more reasonable time to test.
I would wait till Af's due date was closer to test.
