Most important is a toss up between economy & foreign policy, but I see those as intricately connected.

Re: The issues

Besides the economy, healthcare is really important to me. So many patients everyday say to me, "I can't get that treatment, I can't afford it." Even with insurance.

Re: The issues

In my view, Homeland Security and Foreign Policy are inextricably linked. Those are my top two, but closely followed by the economy.

However, since I believe that the right to choose is at risk, that is playing HEAVILY into my vote this year. First time ever have I felt it is under attack.

I voted other.

Tax policy, spending, and federalism are generally at the top of my list.

Environment is pretty heavy, too, but sadly not really focused on. I mean, think about it...if the world is going in the $hitter, then all the other issues are null.

Re: The issues

they're all so very important, and in many ways, relate to one another. our economy is tied up in our national security, for example. i can't pick just one. but for this election, i would say i am voting with the economy and the abortion issue most on my mind.

Re: The issues

I can't vote in the poll because I really couldn't pick only one issue that I feel is most important to me. I'd say I am very concerned about changing the corporation-model health care system in our country, the environment and alternative energies, education (because nclb s*cks), and women's right to choose. I am also concerned about foreign policy in that I believe the "bush doctrine" is complete BS and we need to start diplomatically engaging other nations, not bombing them automatically.
