Danielle, AMAZING!!! Everytime I read one of your updates it brings tears to my eyes b/c I can't even imagine what he is going through. He's lucky to have you all there with him and I'm sooo happy he's doing as well as he is.

I am so sorry you are feeling down but I believe it is only natural From what you have described of your brother, I am sure he is sad to see you leave especially since you have been by his side constantly, but I am sure he is proud & knows that you need to get your career together. he would be so happy for you!!!!
Also to leave knowing your brother is definately communicating & that words are around the corner should give you some peace. We are all here for you, we know it is going to be difficult

Never apologize for being down! you've been on such a roller coaster and have been so positive through it. You're allowed to have a day to feel less than cheery.
Just think of it this way...I'm sure Kenneth was sad to see you go but I'm sure he understands why you went. You mentioned that he helped you get back to school. I'm sure he would want you to get back to things to continue on that path.
Thinking of him this week will help you get through it and this weekend will be the best! just think of his reaction when he sees you!

Aww, Damielle...I am so sorry you are feeling so down right now. I imagine there is going to be a transition period for getting back to "real life". Everything you knew and did stopped the day Kenneth got hurt and your life began to revolve around him and getting him better.
It will be difficult to get back to doing what you did before, but that doesn't mean you are any less of a rock for Kenneth. I am sure he would want you to get back to getting your career started and finishing school. I bet he misses you, but I think he probably understands what you need to do.
Just think how important it will be for Kenneth to be able to see you graduate and hear about your first classroom! You are going to still be there for him, just in a different way.
I know it will be hard, but try to think of it that way.....
You are all still in my prayers
