Ectopic pregnancy?
Suddenly I'm worried...first I was sure I had a chemical pregnancy. I go for blood work tomorrow to check on my levels. I did take an HPT and it said negative on Monday morning.
I'm still feeling that lower right twinge in my very low abdomen that I felt around the time I ovulated and my BFP. My period is winding down now (got it on Sunday). When I went to my OB when we thought I was PG, they checked me internally and I did not feel any pain, so he ruled out an ectopic pregnancy at the time.
Now I'm paranoid....
So my question is, if my pregnancy is ectopic, would my period have shown up in full force the other day? And if it is ectopic, would my HPT say BFN? I'm not feeling any pain, but now and then I feel that kind of stretchy twinge....
Please tell me I'm just paranoid....thanks.

Re: Ectopic pregnancy?
If it was an ectopic that would cause trouble most likely you would get a positive on HPT. Your Dr can look at your uterus via sono to see if there is anything there. I had an ectopic and had period like bleeding and intense pain(much more than a twinge) but everyone is different. They should still be monitoring your hcg to make sure it is going down.

but yes, you can still get what seems to be your period and have an ectopic pregnancy. I did.
