Symptom question
Ok so i'm a regular LIF poster in hiding. DH and I decided to TTC this past August. I stopped the pill the end of July. Since then my cycles have been between 36-41 days long. I didn't want to chart, temp etc. b/c we figured we'll just let it happen without stressing. Fast foward to sunday morning. I woke up REALLY early and the moment I opened my eyes I felt so nauseous, I really thought I was going to be sick. I ran to the bathroom and just began dry heaving. I went back and forth to bathroom about 3 times that morning but nothing came up. I tested yesterday morning and BFN. Yesterday I felt completely fine, I was eating and my stomach felt normal. Today i'm starting to get sick again. i'm at work and i'm nauseous and even dizzy. Anything??? Or could it just be a stomach virus or something?

Re: Symptom question
this is one of those things that can 100% go either way....
everything i have read about morning sickness says it starts at 'six weeks' - i'm dreading Thursday (6 weeks) like you cannot imagine...
is it possible? 100% yes!
is it possible it's a virus? 100% yes...
i'm so sorry that there's no way to answer definitively...

Re: Symptom question
When was your last AF?
I don't want to get your hopes up but it does sound like that could be a symptom - although I always felt like if the hormones were strong enough to cause you to almost vomit, they should be strong enough to be detected by an HPT.

My last period was Sept 16th. But my cycles are all over the place so I don't even know when i wouldbe considered "late"
Thats why when i tested it came up BFN, i was fine the rest of the day. Today its starting up again. I'll just wait it out a few more days. if it continues, i'm off to the doctor!

Re: Symptom question
They both make very excellent points, however, every time I was pg I would get nauseous and dizzy within a week of ovulation. So if you were to go by me and ovulated late then it is possible to have a BFN and still be pg. On the other hand your hormones could be dipping all over the place bc you are no longer on BC and your body is still getting used to it.
What would I do? I would wait another couple of days and take another test. If the test comes back BFN/P then call the dr to get a blood test just to make sure.
Good luck and keep us updated!

Re: Symptom question
When I was pregnant with DD the ONLY time I was even nauseous was before AF was even due. I was in Napa and I couldn't even eat dinner - it was about 3-4 days before AF was due. I neever got sick - so I know it wasn't a bug - it was just these waves of nausea and food aversion.
Other than that I had no morning sickness.
