South Beach - Phase 1
For the people that have done South Beach, can you give me some ideas for meals?
I having been reading the book on and off, but I never started the diet.

And if you have done this diet, did it work for you?

I did the diet back in March - May and really saw results (lost 8 lbs in the first 2 weeks)... Phase 1 is very tough, but totally doable. I actually just followed all the recipes in the book. If it was something I couldn't make or didn't like, I'd skip around and do a variation or another. once the first two weeks was up, it got a lot easier. I am actually still in Phase 2, but I haven't been really good about it.
Breakfast was hard because it was eggs everyday. But I mixed it up and added different things to the omlets every day for variety.

I'm actually doing it now. I haven't had good results but the first 2 weeks I cheated here and there ( I know...why bother? I seriously lack self control.) and the third week I did stick to phase 1. I weigh myself tomorrow. I think my biggest down fall is that you can snack on nuts, in limited quantities, and I have totally been abusing that. So I'm giving phase 1 one more week of actually following it.
I'm getting recipes from the orange cook book. I find it really helpful. I don't have any with me here at work, but I can send you some later if you want.
