My DH ran the DC marathon last weekend in honor of a friend who died...
I am so proud of him. He HATES to run, but did it for his friend, Jim, who died in a freak snowboarding accident in January. I was really worried about DH b/c he has been having lots of knee pain during training and has been going to PT for awhile. Well, it turns out his knee was ok but he broke a bone in his foot around mile 5 and still managed to finish the marathon in 4:38!!! He is hurting still, even though the marathon was last weekend. I am so proud of him, but so happy to have my hubby to myself again (with all the training and PT, DD and I hardly saw him the last few months)!!

WOW...he ran 21 miles with a broken bone in his foot. Hats off to him!!!!
Congratulations to him for his great accomplishment and for such a wonderful cause!
