So I'm back from the IUI...

Actually, a few funny things happened yesterday. You will laugh, it's worth reading.

So I go to the new house right after work (construction almost finished) and get my key stuck in the lock Seriously, it wouldn't come out. Long story short... I get it out 2 minutes before DH shows up to help me. My granite for the kitchen and marble top for the master bath was installed so I wanted to check it out. BTW... looks gorgeous So then I say to DH.... "ummm, we have to leave... I'm surging and want to BD now!!" He says, "well why don't we just Bd in the house?"... Where on the new granite? Or the Carrera marble? How will we decide?

So we get back to my IL's house and as I pull up my MIL's friend who used IVF pulls up with her daughter and her three triplets. So we talk for a few minutes... I tell her I'm going in for IUI today.

Back in the basement apt. all we can here is FIL walking around upstairs and shouting things to my MIL from another room. DH says, "I know he is going to knock on the door". So I run up in my robe (not too obvious at 5:30 in the afternoon) and tell them "We are having a meeting right now about something and can't be disturbed" So my MIL says "Good luck" OMG... nothing is sacred

DH wakes up in the middle of the night and has "intestinal issue" WHAT? No no one is allowed ANY issues today... so I think he took a whole box of Pepto and came back to bed.

So I'm back from RSofNY. The mean NP was there and we had a discussion about my name... my insurance company hasn't issued me a new card and they refuse to put my file under my married name even though I changed it everywhere else DH's count was great... 37 million... my big stud muffin...lol.

After the procedure I ask the nurse about progesterone therapy. Of course they what number IUI this is and I say my first. Then they look at me as if to say, "How do you know about Progestone therapy?" I kept my cool, nothing will upset me now but wanted to say, "WEll, someone around here has to know what's best for me and I guess it will have to be me!!!" But I didn't

So I took the day off. I'm going to go by the new house and spend the day relaxing which I never do.

Thanks for all of the well wishes. I wore my shamrock earrings my Grandmother's ring and we are hoping since DH's grandfather died a week ago today he'll interceed for us

Don't forget to hang Hazelnuts over the doorway and bd again today! Hazelnuts are suppose to bring luck and fertility!

I'm so glad that everything is moving along and you have such a great attitude!

Did you set up your 7dpoiui to check on Progesterone? If not, call and do it! I know that they don't always remember to tell you to schedule that.

I can't believe how RS reacts to a person who asks a proactive question. I guess they prefer ignorance lol

I agree with Morgan, make sure you call and set that 7 dpiui, progesterone test. Just call the receptionist and say you need to come in for it.

Oh, I forgot to add... I did set up the 7dpo progestone test and the 14 dpo pregnancy test before I left

OK, so now I have "get hazelnuts" added to my list of things to do today I wonder how many can I hang without damaging the door

T- Im so happy to hear its done...welcome to the worst two weeks fo your life.

Now that Im can thankfully say I dont have to go back to RSONY, I think next time you go in, I will meet you there and kick mean NP in the ankles.

Better yet, Im gonna write a nasty letter about her...she really is so evil!

On a happier note, your post was hysterical...Im so glad you can laugh about it all, and its great to hear you happy!
