Re: Moms of boys

Yes, I said this exact thing to my mother yesterday when we were in Carter's. There are a TON of cute girl things and hardly anything for boys.

And another thing...is 4T a popular size because I can't get anything for Jared...everything I love for him is sold out.Chat Icon

Re: Moms of boys

I hear you loud and clear!
I havent found much of anything I like this year for the holidays... I ordered something from Crazy8s and am waiting to get it to see if I like it.

I dont want another sweater vest(we did it the first two years) It looks cute but that is ALL you ever see for boys for practically EVERY holiday Chat Icon

Oh I def. hear you! I walked out of Carters and Baby Gap today with nothing!!!
I ended up in Children's Place. I love what I picked out, but, we should definitley have MORE choices.

Carter's does have nice "Everyday" clothes. But, for the holidays, I was very disappointed.Chat Icon

Re: Moms of boys

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3 times this weekend, we actually walked right past the little boy's small clothes area. Its pitiful.

In Macy's the 3 piece outfits looked distressed, like they were laying around in the box from last year. sweater, shirt, pants....

I got his vest from janie and jack
tie from children's place
shirt from old navy

thanksgiving-I got his vest from gap
shirt old navy...still looking for tie.

its a challange to even find a white button down shirt.

easter was terrible...all I needed was a plain white cardigan. what a hunt!!!!

belts are really bad too.

Re: Moms of boys

As a mom of a DD and a DS I say the girls clothes totally out do the boys clothes. DS has a fraction of the amount of clothes DD had at this age(which is actually not a bad thing). I found a cute vest and will pair it with cords and a shirt for Thanksgiving. I am clueless for xmas since everything I buy DH vetos and says NO WAY Chat Icon

Since it's DS's first holiday season I am acutally liking the sweater vest/ shirt and cords look but I see how many of you BTDT moms can be sick of it.

Re: Moms of boys

I know what you mean. I do find that stores like Gymboree and Oshkosh have a much larger selection for boys than stores like BRU and Carter's.
