not sure what you are looking for, but I LOVE Le Bonne Soup...it's on W. 55 bet. 5 & 6th.

Shun Lee - Best Chinese ever! It's about $20-30 for an entree. Try the Grand Marnier Shrimp. YUM. (55th btwn Lex & 3rd)
Chola - Indian Cuisine, very good. (58th between 2nd and 3rd)

There is great little tapas place called Tapas Lounge on 1st Ave and like 57th. The tapas are good and it is a great atmosphere - they have regular tables as well as sofas with coffee tables where you can eat. It is all candle lit.
Rosa Mexicana is also across the street from there and they are really good too. Yummy guac and pomegranate margaritas.
