I'm scared and I don't know what to think
I have been spotting/staining... went for a U/S today... and the dr was not too happy with what he saw. He said the sac looked very healthy, he saw the fetal pole, but no heartbeat... he said I should be around 7 weeks, and what he saw was only around 5 and a half. He took my beta, and I will get it back in a few hours. But he said his gut tells him this isnt good. I'm devasted, yet trying to keep hope. Has anyone had a similar experience? I should add that I went last Tuesday for a sono, and was measuring 5w,5days... so I don't think there was growth. But its not my "normal" dr who saw me today, and it wasnt the same machine or the same tech. I dunno, maybe I'm just grasping for any type of hope.

I hope everything is ok with your little one. 
I know I had spotting at 5.5 weeks and was worried. At 5.5 weeks, I didn't even have a pole. I didn't see the heartbeat until my 8 week appointment. I remember having the appointment scheduled at 8 weeks because they wanted to be sure there would be a heartbeat. Try not to give up hope yet.

Lots of people go through this. Hang in there and let time work for you. They'll check again in a few days and check for growth.
I went through this last month and although it didn't work out well for me, many many many women shared their stories and in most cases everything was fine

Beta numbers have gone down. Looks like this will not be a viable pregnancy.
