masters +30 question
Can you get the +30 raise from taking any kind of classes that you want?
Im thinking about taking photography classes at nassau community college...these classes would count right?

I *think* it depends on your district and their guidelines. I did a second masters. In NYC I think it has to relate to what you are teaching....could be wrong

nope, in NYC you can take classes in underwater basketweaving. Keep in mind, though, if you ever decide to transfer to LI they probably won't take ALL of your classes. You can even do CLEP credits toward your plus 30.
ETA: **nope** they don't have to be in your content area. You can take anything.
