BC and pimples....
Just curious.....did any of you get small pimples after you stopped BC? I haven't had a pimple in 3 years *at least not one worth mentioning lol* and suddenly have little ones coming out all around my face. Could this be from the lack of BC in my body??? TIA

Ughh...i went through puberty w/o many pimples. i went off BC and it got worse and worse. all along my chin area and upper forhead.
i go to the derm and she injected the big ones and they're gone the next day.
they always got worse during PMS as its all hormonal.

I originally went on BC for acne then when I came off of it over a year ago I broke out again. But now I get huge cystic pimples that make the area look swollen, it is the worst right before AF. The derm said it is all hormonal related and because I am TTC she is limited as to what she can put me on.

OMG when i came off i didn't have many at all but after the first few weeks, i look like a teenager!!! It's horrible. I never had bad skin growing up and now around my hairline and my chin are horrible. I started taking bc again (long story) and they are finally starting to go away

It is strange...I mean, I used to get one here and there, but nothing to grin about. Now there are tiny pimples popping up my my cheek, chin and by my nose :( Hopefully it will go away!

I'm breaking out again. Nothing too major but annoying to have to deal with again. I went back to Murad 3-step and that seems to do the trick. Of course, once we get pregnant, I probably can't use it b/c it has salycilic acid. If worse comes to worse, I can probably get a Rx for Azelex, which is safe for preggos. There's also lots of ayurvedic/homeopathic remedies. For now though I'm sticking with the big guns!

YES!!!!! I had them all over my neck when I went off BCP. It almost looked like I was bit by a bug. And I remember that they were a little painful too. Ironically then cleared completely up the cycle I got my BFP. (This was back in 06 when I got PG with my DS- I haven't gone back on the pill since then.)
