Kindergarten teachers
How often do you use dittos as part of your lessons? Do you ever give them holiday/special things to color as decorations? If you do purely creative students made work how do you incorporate it all day? Thanks in advance for any and all answers!

Re: Kindergarten teachers
i never used worksheets at that age level during the school day or in my lessons. i did run off a weekly packet for the parents... handwriting worksheet with the letter of the week, poem of the week, basic math things like making patterns, 1:1 correspondence, basic addition and subtractiion sentences, etc. but that was because they demanded homework so i sent home a weekly packet of things they could do with the kids. in my opinion, kindergarten should be more play oriented and center oriented with hands on activities not worksheets.
the kids in my class that year LOVED to color, so sometimes i would print out clip art designs for the holidays that they loved to color or paste onto things -- i would leave those n the art center and let them do what they wanted to with them.
