spotting
I'm still spotting (brown) it's been a week now. I went to the Dr. on Monday and they said to take it easy and to stay home from work if I could, which of course I can't. And it still hasn't stopped.

Re: spotting
call the doctor back, let them know it's still happening.
for SOME women, spotting throughout the pregnancy is perfectly normal. my doc said there is NO rhyme or reason as to why....some women just DO....

Re: spotting
They say spotting can be normal but call your doctor to let them know that it is still going on.

Re: spotting
I had a spotting incident and everything turned out to be fine. Hang in there and see if you can get in to put your mind at ease!

Re: spotting
I spotted brown for about 7 days. Everything was fine. I was told it was just old blood.

I was just going to post the fact that it is brown is good - it means it is old blood.

Re: spotting
Call your doctor if you feel that it would make you more comfortable, there is nothing wrong in doing so but I'm sure everything is ok

Re: spotting
It never hurts to call your doctor to let them know how you feel! With DS, I spotted 3 weeks straight (weeks 7-9) and with my current pregnancy I spotted on and off during my first trimester. With each case, they never found a reason and it still remains a mystery!

I spotted brown for a few days in my first pregnancy. Everything turned out fine! I'd still let the doctor know if it continues.

Re: spotting
my dr said spotting in early pregnancy is normal. i spotted brown all of week 5 and then as soon as week 6 hit it stopped. i was terrified that entire week! they also say brown is ok, when it turns red and is accompanied with cramping then you should worry! but call your dr anyway just to keep them in the loop and they can make note of it.

Re: spotting
Spotting they say is normal. Just check with your dr and tell them how long it's been. Probably nothing

Re: spotting
definately call your OB & tell them it has not stopped....Maybe you should take it easy over the weekend & keep your feet up?
Like OP said, some women do spot their entire first trimester & sometimes their entire pregnancy.
