Favorite cake/filling combos
What is your favorite kind of cake and what filling with it? My favorites are 7 layer cakes and yellow cake with mocha filling! A local bakery has it & I love it. I also love buttercream. It's funny because I love chocolate, but I'm not a big chocolate cake fan. How about you?

coconut cake with buttercream frosting/filling and coconut flakes on the outside. MMMMMM.
I'm not a choc. cake fan (or anything really that's not "chocolate" chocolate) but one of the layers in our wedding cake was chocolate and it was sooooo good!!!
yellow with buttercream is good too or yellow/strawberry flavor filling.

Store bought would be Butter Cooky's fruit cake sheet cake with whip cream.
Homemade would be my moms cheese cake or ice box cake.
My homemade would be Duncan Hines chocolate cake with two containers of chocolate frosting.
ETA those three could be my Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner for my last meal.

Chocolate cake with white chocolate mousse filling and vanilla buttercream (my wedding cake).
When I bake it would be vanilla cake with chocolate frosting.

Coconut Cake with Coconut Icing & Shredded Coconut
Vanilla Cake with Raspberry Filing and Whipped Cream
I never met a cake combo I didn't like, LOL

Yellow cake/butter cake with raspberry filling. I also like pound cake or sponge cake with custard and fresh berries.
I like red velvet with cream cheese filling.
I LOVE Cappucino cream filling with chocolate cake.. but SO MANY PLACES SCREW THIS UP! It has to be done right or it's horrible.
