Didn't gain any weight this month... have a question
Just wondering if anyone else had a month where they didn't gain any weight. I keep hearing that the end of the 2nd trimester you should be gaining about a pound a week. I had my appointment yesterday and I gained absolutely nothing last month and of course I was immediately paranoid. The doctor measured my belly and said it was exactly in the target range so that the lack of weight gain was nothing to worry about. Now even with my morning sickness I had gained 13 pounds by 21 weeks, so I'm thinking (hoping) that this is just my body balancing out after having gained a bigger amount early on... I know my doctor said it was ok so I'm not really too worried, just wondering if this had happened to anyone else.

everyone is different. If your doc isn't worried neither should you.
At 26 weeks I am down 11lbs. I gave birth to my 2nd child 3lbs less than I started.

I am 18 weeks, and have only gained 3lbs. This past visit I gained no weight. I had my level II on Tuesday and the baby already weighs 9 oz., so I am not worried.
My doctor told me lots of women would love to be in the same position.

I'm 23 weeks and have only gained 4lbs. My doctor doesnt say anything to me about it, so I dont worry.

because of the GD diet - i'm still down 2 pounds from my 10 week weight.
EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT - if your doctor isn't worried - then you shouldn't be either!

Like everyone else has said, everyone is different, so definitely do not worry. I am actually down about 10 pounds since getting pregnant....

I wouldn't worry about it either. They don't even weigh you here in the UK, they just measure your stomach. They're not concerned at all with whether or not you gain, it's just if you grow.
I'm sure your doctor will keep an eye on it if you haven't gained next visit too.

I am 31 weeks and have only gained 12 pounds. I had a sonogram this week and everything looks great. With DS I was up 32 pounds at this point so every pregnancy is different. I'm sure everything is just fine.
