How fast do you go thru formula?
I went to BRU tonight to get some formula that's on sale. I got three cans on powder. As I'm walking to my car I decided to run back in and get three more cans. They were the 20% more free size of good start. A different lady rang me up the second time but the lady next to her was the lady who rang me up the first time.
Lady number one said "didn't I just ring you up?" I though she was going to freak out because the Ad was limit 3 per customer. I said "yes". She than said "your baby NEEDS THAT MUCH FORMULA!!!"
I said YES!!! We go through a can of powder about every 2-3 weeks. With DS it was more like every week and a half.
Please tell me I'm not the only one who's DC using so much formula or likes to stock up while its on sale!!!

How big is the can? The bis cans that Sams and Costco sells last us about 3 weeks.

i go through 2 cans of enfamil AR a month. i don't stock up though because in case he suddenly can't tolerate it (like he did with regular enfamil and similac) i don't want to be stuck with it. i'd rather pay an extra few dollars and only get what i need. i buy 2 cans at a time.

DS drinks 28 oz. a day. we buy the 51 oz. cans of BJs brand formula like enfamil lipil).
that can lasts us about 2 weeks, so we go through about 2 cans a month.
when we were using the enfamil gentlease, we went thru a 24 oz. can every 6 days!!

We supplement with RTF Enfamil Lipil (lately AR), and a case of 6-32oz lasts 2 wks, depending on how much BM I have.
on a side note... I don't really care for the cashier's comment/question.. it isn't her business how much your baby eats.. (sorry, I am tired and cranky today   )

One big container (Similac) from BJs every 2.5-3 weeks or so. DS is also breastfed as well.

We used to use the RTF from Good Start, it is at BRU in a 6 pack and if there was a godo deal I totally stocked up. We would be 6 cases at a time if it was a good price, DS went through a case in 5 days...so that was 190+ oz a week!!! Sheesh! Glad to be on milk now!

Yeah that's me!! Luckily he has slowed down on the formula now that he is on solids and only takes about 25oz a day so we can get a week out of a case. Of course I haven't see any good deals on it recently

I usually buy 2 cans from BJ's (Enfamil Lipal 38 oz) Before I was going to BJ's if Target had a sale I would purchase a couple of cans. (I figure you can always return if things should change)
