Post gallbladder surgery-TMI question
Did you have problems pooping? I figured it would be the case in the first few weeks, but now I am 10 weeks post surgery and things seem to be getting worse. Anybody have insight? The surgeon said it's past being his problem and the GI doctor said I should talk with the surgeon.

Re: Post gallbladder surgery-TMI question
I did not. It usually takes me a week to get back 'on track' after general anesthesia but never that long.
Feel better.

Re: Post gallbladder surgery-TMI question
I was sick for years after having my gall bladder out! If it's diarrhea you're suffering from, take Calcium with Vitamin D. It serves as a binder. You might have a "dumping problem". That basically means that bile is constantly dumping into your stomach and pushing through your body and making you sick. The Calcium saved me!

Yes, I did notice this as a problem too. I never go regularly , but I noticed that it was worse after surgery.
How are you feeling overall??

I actually feel like crap. Maybe it got rid of the attacks, but I am sick of spending my life in the bathroom. (Whether it's running there VERY quickly, or spending time TRYING to get things out.) My body doesn't know what to do and I'm really pi$$y.
On a good note, it has gotten DS interested in the potty. Now he asks to go.
