we sat and i held her during the part of the Chrism Oil, and the priest is the one who puts it on her head in the sign of the cross..
are you not really wanting to do this? It seems like youre worried if someone will see you not do it? im confused.

I held my dd during that part, however I've also held my goddaughter. It's entirely up to you. I wanted to hold my dd and my sister wanted the godmother to hold her dd.
I think it's all up to you.
