Any Mommies who had a C-Section at Good Sam
Did your husband have to take a mandatory C-section class in order to be in the Operating room with you when the baby is delivered??

Re: Any Mommies who had a C-Section at Good Sam
Hi, I had an emergency C-section last June at Good Sam. There was no mention of any class. I thought that was done away with a long time ago. Good Luck

Yes Ive heard both and I dont know whats true.
I called Good Sam to schedule a tour of the maternity ward and the lady on the phone tells me if theres any chance Im having a c-section (which I could be), my "coach" or husband needs to take a mandatory class if he wants to the be in OR ! I never heard of this before!

We had to take one at Good Sam just in case we had to have a C section... It was really quick, not too bad

Re: Any Mommies who had a C-Section at Good Sam
We were told we needed to take the class but never got around to actually taking it since I had an emergency c-section at 36 weeks and was hospitalized there at 34 weeks for pre-term labor. We spoke to my OB about it since we thought I wasn't going to make it past 34 weeks and he said not to worry about it. They say it's mandatory but I wouldn't really worry about it at all.
