Anyone taking a prenatal vitamin?
I just bought One a Day Prenatal. It comes with a prenatal vitamin and prenatal DHA/EPA.
Im thinking I can take the vitamin before getting pregnant and the DHA/EPA once I get pregnant?
Anyone else taking a vitamin now?

i've been taking Origin for Women Prenatals for 3 months.
it seems like my hair is growing at an exponential rate ( and nails) not sure it's from the vitamins.

I've been taking one since a few months before starting TTC. I haven't noticed a difference in my hair or nails

I am. The daily dose of what I'm on is Flotabs Prenatal tablets and DHA capsules. I got the prescription from my doctor.

From what I understand, it's actually a good idea to start prenatals a few months before TTC.
I'm taking Nature's Own prenatals (the big bottle from costco) and the Expecta DHA tablets. I have been taking them for a few months now.

My doctor put me on pre-natals 6 monthes before we started trying. Being on them can only help you =)

It's great to be on prenatals before you get pregnant.
I'm on a one/day OTC called Rainbow Light.

Yes, my obgyngave me an rx for CitraNatal which has a prenatal and a dha vitamin also but the DHA was making me break out like mad so I am only taking the prenatal now.

I have been trying... nothing I take sits well with my stomach and I end up puking. I am about to try just plain old flinstones vitamins.

i take them on and off. all women in their reproductive years can only benefit from taking them...
you can take an OTC until your DR gives you an RX...my dr actually tells me to get the OTC ones since they are cheaper, but I have a good RX plan so I dont mind getting the rx. They are pretty much the same though.

Dh and I will be TTC in August and my doc put me on Natelle Plus with DHA. She said to start now if we want to TTC in August.

I think you should keep taking them... that way the folic acid and all that other good stuff is already in your system when you do get pregnant.

I took 2 flinstones a day while PG with DS bc the prenatals made me feel icky
Its best to start them prior to ttc. This time around I have been on again off again. Between flinstones, RX and OTC. When I had my mc's I stopped bc it was too much of a reminder but always went back to them again
