Teacher's Aid Certification Question
To get certified as a Teachers Aide (Level 1), do you need a diploma?
Does the school system provide this certification and would they check or take your word for it?
ETA: I know someone who just got this certification and never graduated HS. I thought this was odd for a school system position.

Re: Teacher's Aid Certification Question
Interesting. No they don't but they worked for the school in another area and began cert. classes to be an aide. I would have thought the cert class would have screened the students. Maybe if they get hired as an aide then they would ask for it..maybe.
Its kind of crazy when I was 18 I had to show my diploma to Macy's to get a job you would think a school system would do the same.
